Dynamo Zagreb expels Tottenham from the European League


Croatian club Dinamo Zagreb expelled its opponent, Tottenham Hotspur, from the last 16 of the European League, after reversing their two-goal deficit to a deserved 3-goal victory for nothing.



In the match that was held between them, Maximir Stadium hosted it Thursday evening.

The Croatian club scored a hat-trick, its striker Meslav Ursic, in the 62-83-106 minute.

The first attempt in favor of Dinamo Zagreb came in the second minute.



With a ground shot from Franic, which was easily grabbed by Hugo Lloris.



Dynamo Zagreb almost opened the score in the 35th minute, after Mayer hit a crawling ground, to pass by the goal.

The first half of the match ended with a goalless draw.



In the 53rd minute, Dynamo Zououb posed the danger, after his player, Adamy, raised a cross.

And hit a weak header caught by the French Hugo Lloris easily.

 In the 62nd minute, the Croatian team opened the scoring with a ballistic missile from Orsic from the borders of the region.


Dynamo Zagreb added the second goal in the 82nd minute of the match.

After his wing Atimoyne sent the ball to the ground, towards his scorer Ursic in the complete absence of defense, he shot a ball that hit Lloris’ net.

Amid a great surprise from Tottenham coach Jose Mourinho.

In the 85th minute, Tottenham nearly scored the goal of qualifying for the next round.


After Gareth Bale sent a superb cross towards Kane, who hit the header, Levakovich saved it brilliantly.

Tottenham got a fine late in stoppage time, but it didn’t come up with anything new.

The second half and normal time ended, with Dynamo Zagreb advancing with two unanswered goals.

Orsic managed to score a hat-trick in the 106th minute, after manipulating Tottenham’s defense before he fired from the borders of the area, to land Lloris’s net.



Levakovic and starred in tackling Harry Kane’s ball in a deadly time.

The match ended with Dynamo Zagreb’s qualifying for the quarter-finals of the European League Championship.

Tottenham suffered a new setback and an unexpected exit after winning the first leg with two goals to none.
